Schlang & Reichart in der Presse

Forestmachinemagazine - Schlang & Reichart forwarding trailer program - new top model SR.1400X

Schlang & Reichart can look back on a 75-year company history in 2020 as a traditional company for the construction of gear cable winches and other products for forestry. This probably makes the company the oldest and most experienced German manufacturer of forestry technology. A new top model is presented with the SR.1400X forwarding trailer.

Individuality combined with maximum flexibility enables Schlang & Reichart to meet tomorrow's demands. Tue forwarding trailers were developed for prof essional use by forest farmers and forest entrepreneurs. They are suitable for every application under the toughest conditions and can be specially adapted to specific requirements.

The series comprises three basic models, which can be set up with an excellent range of accessories for almost every area of application and every use. Tue area of application is between 8 and 15 t gross vehicle weight. Tue newly presented model is the flagship, the SR.1400 X with the largest possible loading volume in this series.

The robust frame consists of a torsion-resistant double frame. This is carried out in a clamped construction with the stake pairs and the bogie axis.

This gives maximum ground clearance and stability. Tue basic length of the loading area is 4 m, with the two larger models the frame can be mechanically extended by 90 cm.

The Schlang & Reichart forwarding trailer chassis is equipped with a bogie axle with a large pendulum travel for gentle driving and maximum off-road mobility. Built for the most extreme applications, all lines laid on the frame, as well as the compressed air boiler, are completely protected in the frame.

The chainsaw and fuel canister are stowed on the forwarding trailer in a practical and tidy manner. An additional, lockable storage compartment is ideally suited for other small materials. In order to get to the work areas quickly, the forwarding trailers are delivered with a road approval - 25 or 40 km / h are optional.

Depending on the model, in-house cranes can be set up in a wide variety of performance classes. Tue crane lengths range from 6.30 to 10 m. In combination with the flap-down support, the vehicle is the first choice when it comes to stability and lifting power. Tue operator station is generously and well protected on the drawbar. Tue vehicle is equipped with a mechanical cross lever control as standard. An electrical radio or joystick control can also be ordered as an option.
